Design Concept Statement

The lighting design of this show has an emphasis on establishing the realistic warmth of a comforting cabin on the lake- an environment Veronica seeks as she goes on her vacation. As Terry's tragic life story is revealed throughout the show, the lighting should get colder and harsher ultimately reaching a climactic loss of warmth when Terry breaks down and destroys the cabin. As Veronica comforts and cares for Terry, the lighting should reflect the mood with warmth restoring once again.
