Design Concept Statement

The lighting design will transport the space between the mundane and harsh realities that the characters are facing to the abstract complexities of the characters inner monologues of their thoughts and desires. Color plays an important role of setting the mood of the scenes as well as differentiating reality apart from sequences of movement and inner monologues.
